Based on an inspirational photo by Nancy Chuang. The original photo provided by Chuang was a b/w image which I used in re-creating this scene as a watercolor. Family-based workshops throughout Burma make and market handicrafts, food, and other naturally sourced products such as Thanaka, a skin cream worn by many Burmese as a sunscreen.
