Wien Socialists MeetUp

The annual Social Democratic Party (SPO) community meet-up at Am Modenapark is a chance for pensioners to come enjoy some music, dance, conversation, and drink a few biers under a beautiful large oak tree. A bier garden in the park. The Wien socialists hosts the event annually as a community outreach program serving traditional bier, wurst, pastries, and bread along with vendors selling gifts. This year’s theme was centered around Hawaiian culture with dancers performing to the music of Hawaii. A nice afternoon of conversation and performances stretched into the evening under cool clear skies. The event takes place annually around June/July. For information and history on the SPO check here.
